Don’t miss this hilarious night of stand-up comedy that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen, DON RICKLES & GEORGE BURNS: A TRIBUTE TO TWO COMEDY LEGENDS STARRING PETER SALZER AND MICHAEL WALTERS, live at the Mizner Park Cultural Center on November 17, 2018!
Michael Walter as Don Rickles
“It was like looking in a mirror!” said Don Rickles upon meeting Michael Walter for the first time.
Michael has been a comedian for the past 36 years, working comedy stages coast to coast, with appearances in Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq to entertain the troops. He did a year at Harrah’s Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, as the comedy star of SHOWGIRLS, where people compared him to comedy greats Don Rickles and Jonathan Winters. He has appeared on Showtime, MTV and America’s Funniest People.
After losing his hair in a terrible aging accident, people told him he looked like Don Rickles. Michael began doing a “tribute” to the comedy legend. In 2013, he won the prestigious Platinum Showcase Award at The Sunburst Convention for Celebrity Impersonators and Tribute Artists. He followed that with the Gold Showcase in 2014. His rapid-fire wit is very much like Rickles. Don’t miss this hysterically funny man coming to Mizner Park this season!
